The model base should be trimmed slightly conically so that the model can be easily removed from the duplicating mould!

Bite relation
- Use a semi adjustable articulator

The outline of the relining is marked in pencil.
Extend the base over the dorsal area of the alveolar ridge as widely as possible.

Integrate a stop into the lower, free-end saddle area of a partial denture, so that the metal framework is supported!

In difficult bite relationships, and in the anterior region in general, it is recommended to make a set-up in advance!

It is not necessary to grind a food line into the plaster model. If however, this should be desired, it is advisable to carve a very light indentation using a rounded instrument!
