Construction examples

A four point supported design provides sufficient stability against rotation.
The front teeth should be spared from additional clasps. (Protrusion effect).

Sufficient distance to the gingival margin must be taken into consideration when planning a horseshoe design.

When a tooth is replaced in the anterior region, the clasps should be located as far dorsal as possible, in order to prevent tilting.
