Bars

Aligning the bar

Horizontal bar alignment:

The bar should be positioned horizontally to the ideal occlusal plane to ensure that the masticatory forces are distributed correctly. Positioning it at any other angle results in incorrect loading of the implants and pressure on the soft tissue.

Vertical alignment:

The bar acts as a rotational axis for conditionally tissue retained dentures (hyprid dentures). The bar should be positioned vertically to the median line to enable uniform loading of the alveolar ridge.

The prefabricated titanium bar is shortened to the correct length and the single parts are positioned to the correct horizontal axis between the titanium caps, bar (tioLogic©, Dentaurum Implants) by means of a parallelometer (Paralas) for laser welding.
